I saw this on the MSN home page and it took the police 9hrs. before they actually put out the Amber Alert. Claimed they couldn't put it out earlier because they didn't have an eye-witness descrip. of the burglar's vehicle.

I saw that as well. It's very disheartening. I can't imagine how I'd handle it if I were the mother and the police were slacking. I just want to kick all their butts for that. In 9 hours there is no telling where they could be.. Its just too late, I hate to say. And yes, I agree that the photo should have been enough to put out the alert.
